6 Best Homemade Protein Rich Hair Mask
In order to obtain the best results, it is preferable not to use these masks too frequently. It is usually recommended to apply them once a week to have beautiful hair. How often do you care for and moisturize your hair? Most of us only care when the first signs of split ends or dandruff appear. Hair is primarily formed by Keratin, a sulfur-rich protein. There are different external factors that gradually deteriorate our locks:
Chemical treatments
The use of modeling or curling irons
Dyes
Protein plays a very important role in the health of our hair.
Their main action is to cover the hair structure and contribute to the formation of the hair follicle. For this reason, a low-protein diet will result in weak hair and split ends.
Avoid these problems with the following masks:
1. Yogurt mask
The lactic acid provided by yogurt in this first hair mask helps cleanse the scalp and helps reduce curls or frizz.

A few notes about high-protein masks
While the application of high-protein masks can help, prolonged use is not recommended for natural or undyed hair . If we use them too frequently our hair can become brittle, stiff, and lose moisture. The ideal is to limit the application to 5 times per month to obtain the best results without saturating your hair fibres. After using these masks, it is advisable to rinse the hair well with plenty of water. Finally, we always have to wash them with shampoo to remove other residues.
